Terms and Conditions

Whenever a customer or user accesses our travel website or avails our services, they are required to accept the following Terms & Conditions. This document constitutes a legal agreement between the customer and North East Tour Planner, operated by Travel Zone, Guwahati.

1. Booking Acceptance & Mode of Payment

• Bookings are accepted throughout the year, subject to availability.
• Reservations should be made at least 7 days prior to the departure date.
• Booking confirmation is subject to receipt of 30% advance payment of the total package cost.
• Bookings made within 7 days prior to departure depend entirely on availability.

2. Payment Terms

• 30% advance payment at the time of booking.
• 60% payment at the time of boarding, collected by our representative.
• Remaining 10% balance to be paid to the driver during the trip as required.
• Applicable government taxes are payable by the customer on the total package cost.

3. Trips & Charges

• Travel distance is calculated from outlet to outlet.
• Parking fees, toll charges, entry fees, and gate passes are payable by the guest.
• A/C and heater facilities may remain switched off in hilly areas or during vehicle stoppages.

4. Cancellation Charges (By Customer)

• Cancellation before 30 days: ₹500 will be charged; remaining amount will be refunded.
• Cancellation before 15 days: 50% of the total package cost will be charged.
• Cancellation before 7 days: 75% of the total package cost will be charged.
• Cancellation within 7 days prior to departure: No refund will be applicable.

5. Cancellation by the Company

North East Tour Planner reserves the right to cancel a trip before departure due to natural disasters, political instability, terrorism, weather conditions, or any unforeseen circumstances that make the tour unviable. In such cases, the booking amount will be refunded within 30 days.

6. Change of Itinerary

Any changes to the confirmed itinerary must be communicated at least 30 days prior to the travel date. Changes are subject to availability and approval.

7. Prohibited Items

Passengers are strictly prohibited from carrying the following items:

• Corrosive or hazardous chemicals and materials
• Weapons, sharp objects, firearms, fuel, explosives or tear gas
• Heavy appliances, machinery, vehicle parts, furniture or industrial tools

8. Driver Rights

The driver reserves the right to cancel or discontinue services if:

• Passengers request violation of traffic laws or safety rules
• Passengers smoke, consume alcohol, or behave abusively inside the vehicle
• Passengers insist on overloading or carrying extra persons
• Passengers force the driver to overspeed or take unsafe routes

9. Agency Limitations & Liabilities

While we strive to provide the best services and maintain vehicles in good condition, North East Tour Planner shall not be held responsible for delays, alterations, losses, injuries or damages caused due to:

• Natural disasters, weather conditions, landslides or road blockades
• Accidents, vehicle breakdowns, strikes or political unrest
• Theft, illness, or any unforeseen events beyond our control

We do not provide or cover any travel, health, accident or life insurance for customers or passengers.

10. Complaints & Jurisdiction

Any complaints regarding service, driver or staff behavior should be reported immediately for resolution. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Guwahati, Assam.
